Island game proposal

A reality TV style groomsman proposal on a deserted island

His link opens on tree mail nailed to a palm at sunset. He swaps onto your tribe, digs a carved idol out of the sand, and sits through a torchlit vote where every ballot has his name on it, right up to the last one, which is your question.

what they see

How the reveal plays out

Made for the friends who have watched every season together. It is a fan-made island game with drums, fire and marimba sounds, and it plays out like an episode with him as the star.

Tree mail

He taps a wooden box on a palm at sunset. A scroll unrolls with a rhyming note signed by you.

The tribe swap

He picks a bandana color, the words "for now" type out, and his bandana drops. Yours lands in its place, printed with your tribe name.

Hunt for the idol

He searches camp. A crab, a coconut and "someone's missing sock" come up first, then he rubs away the sand and a carved idol rises with the groom's photo burned into the wood.

The final vote

Torches flicker as the votes are read. Every one has his name, and the last one asks, "Mike, will you be my best man?" Both buttons say "I'm in."

Questions people ask

Do I need to buy one for each groomsman?

No. One purchase covers your whole wedding party, and each guy gets his own link with his own name, role and keepsake.

Do I need photos?

No, photos are optional. Without the groom's photo, the idol has his name carved in. Without a guy's photo, his keepsake shows a castaway silhouette. If you do add photos, they go in as an image link from a free photo-hosting site, and the PDF shows you how.

Can he fail the idol hunt?

No. The third spot he searches is always the right one.

What is the "Play my idol" button?

An optional joke. If he taps it, the screen shakes, it says NICE TRY, reminds him the idol was only good for one wedding, and signs him up anyway.

Is it connected to a TV show?

No. It's an original, fan-made island game and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any show or network.

Is anything mailed to me?

No. It's a digital download, so nothing ships, including a bandana or an idol.
